Micromount Monday Week 7 - Sphalerite

Micromount Monday, Week 7

Sphalerite

Today is the seventh installment of Micromount Monday, and we’re featuring a nice specimen of Sphalerite from Pints Quarry, Raymond, Iowa. What is a micromount? It's typically defined as a specimen that requires a microscope to fully appreciate it or to view the species that's showcased. Most competitions require that the whole specimen be less than 25mm in diameter. I sell a variety of micromount products here at perkyboxes.com.
