Micromount Monday Week 6 - Hematite

Micromount Monday, Week 6

Hematite

Today is the sixth installment of Micromount Monday, and we’re featuring a nice specimen of botryoidal Hematite. What is a micromount? It's typically defined as a specimen that requires a microscope to fully appreciate it or to view the species that's showcased. Most competitions require that the whole specimen be less than 25mm in diameter. I sell a variety of micromount products here at perkyboxes.com.
